The vision of our founders has not changed. James F. Webb and Vance Stephens established their businesses to serve the people of Meridian, and surrounding counties.

Having over 244+ years of combined service, we are continuing the legacy of our founders by merging our funeral homes and staff to offer more choices and competitive pricing for the families we serve.

The families choosing to use Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes will have an opportunity to celebrate their loved one’s legacy at any of the following :

A convenient downtown location that is in the classic “Funeral Home” style (as it was an actual home) where they may use the classic parlors and our historic chapel. This location is within blocks of the historic downtown churches, newly opened Threefoot Hotel, historic Temple Theatre, and Weidman’s restaurant.

Our north location, which is the newest, most modern facility in the area. This building is 10,000+ Square Feet of modern funeral home technology. The families choosing to use this facility will have access to large, lighted parking, top of the line audio/visual for services and memorials, large open hallways and large spacious rooms to gather in. With this location, families are also able to have the convenience of taking care of all their funeral and cemetery arrangements in one location, as we are the only funeral home with a cemetery (Forest Lawn Memory Gardens) on the property.

For our Dekalb and Kemper County families, we offer the only funeral home facility in the city; a convenient location just off the main highway that allows local families to honor their loved one’s memory and legacy in their hometown and not have the burden of traveling away from home.

For our Union and Newton County/Neshoba County families we have a convenient location in town that allows families of that area to honor their loved ones without having to leave their hometown.

The staff of Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes are local people, most having been born, and having lived in our community for our entire lives. We maintain the legacy that was passed on to us by the families of James F. Webb, J. Cliff Watts, Vance Stephens, and Charles Stephens, that we treat all families with respect and dignity and offer the most professional services we can for their loved one’s legacy.
